In Pilat, you’ll find natural sites, local heritage, protected landscapes, friendly locals (the ‘Pilatois’), their local festivals and traditions as well as the regional produce. These are all strengths of this environmentally friendly adventure tourism.
After the first stage of structuring and identifying the tourist activity in the Park, the Park charter aims to contribute to development of tourism in this context of preservation. Unsurprisingly, the Parc du Pilat is a signatory of the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism which enables it to widely promote tourism that is more integrated on an economic, social and environmental level, on the massif.
