The Syndicat Mixte

The Parc du Pilat is covered by a Syndicat Mixte that includes the 47 communes of the region, 4 intermunicipal collectives, 16 gateway towns, the The Rhône-Alps region, the departments of the Loire and the Rhône.

Trade union council

A trade union council comprised of 80 elected representatives meets three or four times a year. It passes the budget, defines the plan of action and elects the President and the Bureau in charge of implementing the policy passed. Thematic commissions and expert advisors work on the dossiers and prepare the decisions submitted to the Bureau.  The Bureau overlooks the implementation of the charter, puts the programmes into operation, validates the work of the commissions and ensures the management of the park. The President of the Syndicat Mixte is responsible for carrying out the decisions made by the Bureau and the Council; he/she authorises expenditure, represents the Park and signs the deeds.

Since 2008, the Park’s Syndicat Mixte is presided over by Mme. Michèle Pérez, Mayor of Roisey and Regional Councillor.
