The elected members

Like all local authorities, the Park’s Syndicat Mixte is controlled by elected officials representing the citizens. These elected representatives, designated by indirect suffrage, represent the residents of Pilat, the gateway towns, the departments and the Region. The residents are just as concerned about the Park. If the elected representatives are piloting an area project, developed in broad consultation, then all the people of Pilat, through their actions, form an integral cog in the successful realisation of this project.
